We’ve been overwhelmed by the huge amounts of food, love and support flowing into Senate House from all you beautiful people. Thank you!!!

Occupation needs foods and supplies; we are currently being denied access and any help would be greatly appreciated! Show us the cake!

People are being denied access to join in on the occupation. Our position is that we will not negotiate further until the demand of open access is met. We have occupied the University of Bristol Senate House today. We have done this to protest against, and to open a space of dialogue and critical thinking around, the government-proposed education cuts and changes to the University fee structure. We have occupied this space in a spirit of solidarity with other student occupations and in recognition of the burning need for a new form of participatory democracy within our University and universities in general.
